We just wanted to tell you about a new comedy on APTN that’s quirky, fun, and wacky in a similar vein as the Red Green Show. Health Nutz is about an alcoholic, ex-pro-hockey player who inherits a juice bar in North Vancouver, but on the condition he gets and stays sober. Canadian Writer/producer/executive producer Jason Friesen has created a show that has zany character-based humour. Hello Scott,

I would love to take your course if you are still running it. Are you based in Toronto? If so, I would like to sign up.

For 5 years, I was a freelance bumper writer and character designer for YTV, and in 2007, I came very close to an internship with John May at Heroic Film Company. He was interested my character design services, but I didn’t get a chance to show him any of my writing or pitches, which has haunted me to this day.

I met Amy Stulberg on a field trip with my Toronto Film College writing class and was glad to hear that she is always looking for new talent. I have yet to approach any agents as I would like to make sure my work is the best it could be.

I would love it if your course could help me with that aim.
