Just got news today that John McFeteidge’s The Box has been approved for the Round Two application process for the IPF Web Series Fund!

For those of you who have wondered why you haven’t heard from me recently, I’ve been teaching at Centennial College, writing my buns off and working on getting this off the ground!

Tights and Fights: Ashes!

It’s a super hero comedy web series conceived and partially written by me. And, oh yeah, that’s me in the cape. It is produced by my comedy, GopherX.net. The company is a partnership between me, Christopher Guest and Courtney Wolfson.

It runs from October 15th until the fall of 2011, so check it out!

I’m going to try to do more posts here (like… any) but for those brave few who have subscribed here, you’re some of the first people to know that registration for my new workshop is finally open!

I thought I’d delight all my visitors with a quick update to my going’s on.

I’ve been bogged down lately in all the logistical details of Tights and Fights: Ashes, which is the second season of the YouTube hit series. The writing is done (mostly) and now we’re planning out how we’re actually going to shoot it and… you know… play for it. It is very ambitious, especially for a project that was originally inspired by a way to produce a series for almost nothing. I tend to do that, take an easy idea and blow it up. Christopher, my partner in GopherX.net, probably wishes I didn’t do that as often. Or ever.

Plus, I landed a gig as Executive Story Editor on a show called Mickey. We wrote it in August and September and it is now in post-production. I’ll let you know what happens there. I’d like to point out that I am not the creator of the series, but I am very proud of the work the writers and I did on it, and I can’t wait to see it.

In other news, Christopher and I hope to not only shoot Ashes early in the new year, but Job Review with a Vampire and Robot Roommates as well! I’ll do my best to keep you posted.
