In 2002, Scott and John McFetridge co-wrote a novel, loosely inspired by their time working on movie shoots in Toronto. Below the Line was published by Signature Editions.

           In 2003 Below the Line was nominated for a Re-lit Award, recognizing excellence in small press writing.
